Meet Dr. Thaylon Sotomayor

Dr. Thaylon Sotomayor is a dedicated dentist known for his precision, compassion, and commitment to excellence in patient care. He earned his dental degree from the Faculty of Dentistry at Raul Gonzalez Sanchez University in Havana, Cuba, and later obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in New Jersey. His passion for implant dentistry led him to pursue advanced training, earning a Fellowship in Dental Implants and recognition as a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI).

With expertise in implant placement, full mouth rehabilitation, and long-term restorative solutions, Dr. Sotomayor strives to provide care that restores not only function and health but also confidence and quality of life. Together with Dr. Yunet Chao, he brings a patient-first philosophy to Smile Dental Care—where every smile is treated with artistry, compassion, and precision.
